Over the past decade, digital gaming has become deeply embedded in the daily routines of adolescents across the globe, significantly influencing their cognitive, emotional, and social development. This widespread integration of gaming into everyday life has yielded both positive and negative outcomes. The present review aims to examine the relationship between digital game addiction and various psychosocial variables among adolescents. In particular, the study will investigate the roles of smartphone addiction, gender, educational background, and other influences.
